Turkmenistan entered the list of countries with the cheapest gasoline. According to GlobalPetrolPrices, as of March 6, Turkmenistan ranks seventh in terms of the availability of gasoline with an octane rating of 95. The price of a liter of gasoline in the country is 0,427 USD.

The average price of gasoline around the world is 1,30 USD per liter, the cheapest gasoline in the world in Venezuela is 0,016 USD per liter. The top three also included Libya and Iran – 0,031 USD and 0,053 USD respectively.

The most expensive gasoline in Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China). There, a liter of gasoline costs 2,941 USD. In Syria, a liter of gasoline costs 2,614 USD, in Iceland – 2,270 USD.

Turkmenistan sells its oil products through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange to the countries of Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
