Foreign drivers of trucks received permission for international cargo transportation through the territory of Turkmenistan. Drivers performing international road transport of goods must meet the qualification and professional requirements.

The new decision provides for the departure and arrival of vehicles from the territory of Turkmenistan from the checkpoint "Turkmenbashi International Seaport" together with drivers of foreign vehicles, as well as transit through Turkmenistan from the corresponding checkpoint along with drivers of foreign vehicles.

In addition, drivers of foreign trucks who arrived through the checkpoints "Altyn Asyr", "Artyk", "Sarakhs" and "Farap", located on the state border of Turkmenistan, were also allowed to deliver or pick up goods at the railway stations closest to the checkpoint or areas, up to the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
